Paradise in...Paradise! The whole experience of this place is unreal. It is so well designed with different spaces to enjoy, while indulging in the simplest of cafe offerings such as an espresso OR a full authentic local Kerela feast OR anything in-between. Great coffee! Great juices! Really good food! A lovely selection of calm tunes to accompany the seafront viewpoint.

Sun Francisco in Varkala is an absolute gem! Settled in the cliff with stunning sea views, it’s become one of our favorite spots. We’ve visited at least four times and tried a variety of dishes from their menu – everything was fantastic.The pizza was impressively close to Italian quality, the pasta was delicious and nearly al dente , and the masala dosa is a treat you won’t want to miss. They even offer unique options like a salt lassi, which isn’t something i did not find on many menus.We were also pleasantly surprised by their range of plant-based milks – a thoughtful touch that caters to everyone. The vibe is laid-back, with cool music playing at just the right volume. There’s also artwork on the walls, including a vibrant Frida Kahlo piece that adds to the atmosphere.One thing to note: the seats near the bar or kitchen can sometimes have a bit of a smell, depending on what’s cooking and how strong the fans are, so it’s usually better to sit in the front area, where it’s breezy and airy. Speaking of improvements, the menu cards are a little worn out and falling apart, but I imagine they’ll update them soon.Despite these minor details, Sun Francisco is truly a top location. The staff here are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. While it seems to be an all-male team, they make you feel welcome and are super helpful, speaking excellent English.We’ll definitely keep coming back for the amazing food and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend Sun Francisco if you’re in Varkala.

A Serene Cliffside Cafe with Unmatched Quality and ServiceNestled atop a breathtaking cliff, this cafe is a haven for those who seek a meal with a view. Our light breakfast was a delightful affair, featuring a vibrant fruit bowl, sumptuous French toast, and bread coupled with tender scrambled eggs. The tea, both the standard and the aromatic masala, was so exceptional that we were compelled to order a second round, confirming that the first was no mere stroke of luck .The servings were satisfying, and the quality was nothing short of impeccable. Each flavor was authentic, enhancing our experience as we took in the stunning beach vista. A heartfelt commendation to Mr. Antony, whose attentive care and warm hospitality made our visit all the more special.It’s worth noting that the prices are on the higher end for domestic tourists, but the culinary excellence and the enchanting atmosphere make it a worthwhile indulgence.

We came her multiple times because of..Very good food, friendly staff, a sweet atmosphere and reasonable prices for a first row restaurant at the busy northcliff.Our favourite was the veg Thali. The freshly made veg Momos were also amazing.Also we enjoyed the selection of tunes so much.Thank you, highly recommended!

Great place to chill. The place has lot of space and is mostly foreigners come here. It has a good view of the sea, but best part was the food. Saw some youtube videos and they had recommended burger which i tried. It was really good.

I ate at least 4 meals in the restaurant/cafe. Having tried multiple dishes, I have the say the food is pretty tasty. Moreover, it’s the overall vibes of the place that actually makes you wanna hang out there. I went there solo and with friends. The staff is chill, service is a bit slow but it’s fine cos the place is nice. Try the pesto & Kale Buddha bowl and the tawa fry calamari - my personal favourites!
